Our wheel straightening process realigns the bend, checks the bead seat, and tests for leaks before the wheel goes back on your car. For wheels with hairline fractures, we offer cracked rim welding to restore structural integrity. If the damage is too severe and the structure is compromised, we tell you straight. Alloy wheel repair covers more than just curb damage. Quebec winters are hard on finishes. Salt, slush, and freeze-thaw cycles lift the clear coat, pit the surface, and leave white corrosion creeping in around the lug holes. Left alone, it eats into the alloy and the wheel starts leaking air. Wheel refinishing strips the old finish down to bare metal, repairs the corrosion, and lays down a fresh coat matched to your original colour.
For owners who want a full change, we also offer powder coating. The wheel is stripped, media-blasted, coated in dry powder, and baked until the finish bonds to the metal. Powder coating is tougher than paint. It resists chips, salt, and brake dust better than a factory finish, and it comes in dozens of colours. Many of our customers powder coat their winter set one shade and keep the summers factory.
Diamond cut wheels need special care. These are the rims with a machined, polished face and a painted pocket behind it. They look sharp, but they cannot be sanded and repainted the way a standard painted wheel can. We restore diamond cut wheels using a precision machining process that re-cuts the polished face, then repaints the pockets to match. Done wrong, a diamond cut wheel looks worse than before. Done right, it looks factory fresh.
