Nous réparons les grafignures de trottoir, les coudes légers, la corrosion et les finis usés. Le mag réparé a la même apparence que les trois autres sur votre voiture.
Ça arrive vite. Vous vous garez un peu trop près du trottoir, vous entendez ce bruit de grincement, et en sortant vous trouvez une éraflure le long du bord de votre jante. La réparation de grafignures est l'un des travaux les plus courants que nous voyons, et la plupart du temps la roue est parfaitement sécuritaire en dessous. Le dommage est cosmétique. Nous ponçons, reformons le bord et refinissons la surface pour que la grafigne disparaisse.
La réparation de jantes tordues est différente. Frappez un nid-de-poule sur la 40 ou accrochez un couvercle de regard surélevé et la jante peut se tordre juste assez pour dérégler votre direction ou causer une fuite lente. Notre processus de redressage de roue réaligne le coude, vérifie le siège du talon et teste les fuites avant que la roue ne retourne sur votre voiture. Pour les roues avec des fissures capillaires, nous offrons la soudure de jantes fissurées pour restaurer l'intégrité structurale. Si le dommage est trop grave et que la structure est compromise, nous vous le disons franchement. La sécurité passe en premier.
La réparation de roues en alliage couvre plus que les grafignures. Les hivers québécois sont durs sur les finis. Le sel, la gadoue et les cycles de gel-dégel soulèvent le vernis, piquent la surface et laissent de la corrosion blanche s'infiltrer autour des trous de boulons. Laissé sans traitement, ça ronge l'alliage et la roue commence à perdre de l'air. Le refinissage de roues décape l'ancien fini jusqu'au métal nu, répare la corrosion et applique une couche fraîche assortie à votre couleur d'origine.
Pour les propriétaires qui veulent un changement complet, nous offrons aussi le powder coating (peinture en poudre). La roue est décapée, sablée, enrobée de poudre sèche et cuite jusqu'à ce que le fini adhère au métal. Le powder coating est plus résistant que la peinture. Il résiste aux éclats, au sel et à la poussière de frein mieux qu'un fini d'usine, et il vient en dizaines de couleurs.
Que vous l'appeliez réparation de jantes, réparation de roues ou réparation de mags, l'idée est la même. Vous n'avez pas besoin d'acheter une roue neuve quand celle que vous avez peut être sauvée.
