Windshield & Auto Glass Repair in Montreal & the West Island
Caught a chip? Fix it this week, before it turns into a full windshield.
Most chip repairs take under an hour. Often covered by your insurance with zero out of pocket.

A small chip looks harmless. Then one cold morning, a long crack runs across your windshield.
Catching it early is the difference between a 30-minute fix and a full replacement.
We repair most chips the same day. You wait in our lounge, or grab a coffee around the corner.
In Quebec, most windshield chip repairs are covered by your insurance with no deductible. We help you file it on the spot.
Windshield repair is the first thing you should think about the moment a rock hits your glass. A rock chip repair takes about half an hour, costs you nothing if your insurance covers it, and stops the damage from spreading. The resin we inject fills the break, bonds the glass back together, and restores the strength of the windshield. You might still see a faint mark where the impact happened, but the crack will not run.
Crack repair is a little different. A short crack, under the length of a credit card, can often be filled the same way we fill a chip. Once a crack gets longer, or once it reaches the edge of the glass, a repair will not hold. That is when windshield replacement becomes the safe call. We will look at it and tell you honestly which one you need. We do not talk you into a replacement you do not need, and we do not try to repair something that should be replaced.
Auto glass repair covers more than just the front windshield. We handle stone chips, stress cracks, and edge damage on the front glass, and we can arrange replacement for side and rear glass as well. If your defrost line is in the repair zone, we work around it carefully so the function is not affected.
In-Shop Work at Pointe-Claire
All windshield repair and glass replacement work is done in-shop at our Pointe-Claire facility. We do not offer on-site, mobile or driveway glass service, and there is a critical safety reason for that policy. A proper windshield replacement demands a controlled, climate-stable environment so the structural urethane adhesive bonds completely to the pinchweld and cures free of road dust, pollen, salt particles or humidity trapped beneath the glass. A rock chip repair completed in a clean, temperature-regulated service bay also cures with far higher resin clarity and mechanical strength than one rushed outside in a driveway or parking lot.
When a full windshield replacement is needed, we source OEM glass whenever possible so the replacement matches factory optical clarity, curvature, tint band and acoustic insulation standards. If your vehicle is equipped with a forward-facing camera or active driver-assist safety sensors, we ensure the complete ADAS camera recalibration is carried out so your lane-keep assist, forward collision alert and automated emergency braking systems read road markings accurately. That step is never optional on modern vehicles, and skipping recalibration turns a glass repair into a serious driver safety hazard.
Whatever the damage, the golden rule of auto glass is always the same: address it immediately. A tiny stone chip or surface star you put off today can turn into an unrepairable foot-long crack across your entire windshield after the next cold night or sudden temperature shift. The sooner you bring your vehicle into our Pointe-Claire bay, the higher the likelihood we can save your original glass and keep your out-of-pocket cost at zero through your insurance policy.

Side and Rear Window Replacement
Auto glass repair is not only about the front windshield. A side window shattered in a break-in, a rear windshield cracked while loading, or a piece of quarter glass pitted by road debris all need the same care. We handle car window replacement for side and rear glass at our Pointe-Claire shop.
A side window replacement is different from a windshield job. The glass is tempered, not laminated, so once it breaks it shatters into small pieces. We clean out every shard from the door cavity and the tracks, install new auto glass, and make sure the seal is tight so you do not get wind noise or water leaks down the road.
A rear windshield replacement often includes the defrost grid baked into the glass. We connect it properly so your defroster still clears the back window on a cold Montreal morning. If your vehicle has a rear wiper or a camera for the backup view, we make sure those transfer over cleanly as well.
Whatever piece of glass is broken, we source the right part for your vehicle and install it the right way. Bring it to us or call ahead, and we will tell you what is involved before any work starts.
Power Window and Regulator Repair
A broken window is not always broken glass. Sometimes the glass is fine, but the window will not go up or down. That is usually a regulator or motor problem, and it is something we fix in-shop.
The window regulator is the mechanism that lifts and lowers the glass. Over the years the cables fray, the plastic clips snap, and the motor slows down or quits. You might hear a grinding noise, or the window drops down into the door and will not come back up. On a rainy or cold day, that is a problem you want fixed fast.
We replace regulators and motors, realign the glass so it seals properly, and test the switch and wiring so the whole system works the way it should. If your window is stuck, making noise, or moving slowly, bring it in before it fails completely and leaves your car open to the weather.
ADAS Camera Recalibration
Most newer vehicles have a forward-facing camera mounted behind the rearview mirror. That camera reads lane markings, watches for pedestrians, and feeds your lane-keep, forward-collision, and emergency braking systems. When the windshield is replaced, that camera moves, even by a fraction of a degree, and it needs to be recalibrated or those safety systems will not read the road correctly.
We make sure the ADAS recalibration is handled as part of the windshield replacement, not skipped to save time. Skipping it is how a cheap glass job turns into a safety problem, and it is the reason we use OEM glass whenever possible so the camera and mounting bracket fit exactly the way the factory intended.
If your vehicle has any of these driver-assist features, tell us when you book. We will make sure the calibration is part of the job, so your safety systems work the way they did the day you bought the car.
