What moves the price from there is straightforward: your vehicle's make and model, whether you choose synthetic or conventional oil (synthetic costs more), and how much oil your engine holds. Larger engines and European cars take more oil, so they cost a bit more.

Conventional oil does the job and costs less up front. Synthetic oil costs more but holds up better under heat, flows faster in the cold, and lasts longer between changes. For a lot of drivers that trade-off makes synthetic the better long-term value.

Some engines call for synthetic by design — many newer vehicles and most European cars do. If yours does, we will tell you. If it does not, we will not push the upgrade. We carry both, and we will tell you plainly which one your car actually needs.
