Les vitres teintées ne sont pas qu'une question de look. Un bon film teinté coupe l'éblouissement qui vous frappe les yeux les après-midi ensoleillés sur la 40, empêche le cuir et le tableau de bord de se fissurer sous les UV et rend l'habitacle nettement plus frais en juillet. Si vous avez des enfants à l'arrière, la différence est évidente. Plus de plissement des yeux, plus de boucles de ceinture brûlantes.
Film teinté vs film céramique
La plupart de nos installations utilisent un film teinté pour un look net et foncé à un prix juste. Le film teinté bloque la lumière et vous donne de la vie privée, et c'est le bon choix pour beaucoup de voitures quotidiennes. Si vous voulez une vraie réjection de chaleur, le film céramique est la mise à niveau. Le film céramique utilise des particules microscopiques pour bloquer la chaleur infrarouge sans avoir besoin d'être noir complet, donc vous pouvez mettre une teinte plus légère sur les vitres avant et quand même sentir la différence en ouvrant la portière.
La loi sur la teinte au Québec compte ici. Les vitres latérales avant, conducteur et passager, doivent laisser passer au moins 70 % de la lumière. C'est la limite légale, et nous n'allons pas plus foncé à l'avant. Les vitres latérales arrière et la lunette arrière peuvent être aussi foncées que vous le souhaitez, jusqu'à une teinte limousine de 5 %. Nous vous présentons les options, vous montrons à quoi ressemble chaque niveau et nous nous assurons que le travail fini est légal avant que vous ne repartiez.
Une bande teintée sur le pare-brise est un petit ajout qui fait une grande différence. C'est une bande de teinte en haut du verre avant qui coupe l'éblouissement du soleil quand vous roulez vers un coucher de soleil bas. Elle reste dans la zone légale au-dessus de la ligne AS-1, donc elle n'affecte pas votre vue. Beaucoup de nos clients l'ajoutent sur un travail de teinte complet juste pour le confort.
Une installation sans bulles
Chaque installation se fait dans une baie propre et contrôlée contre la poussière. C'est la partie que les gens ne voient pas. Une teinte appliquée dans un atelier sale finit avec des particules coincées sous le film, et celles-ci se transforment en bulles avec le temps. Nous préparons le verre, posons le film humide, le racleons à plat et le coupons au bord. Le résultat est un fini lisse, d'un bord à l'autre, qui a l'air d'usine.
